Welcome to the USask Japanese Culture and Media Club.
The Japanese Culture and Media Club (JCMC) is a student organization formed in 2025 at the University of Saskatchewan. We are dedicated to promoting interest in Japanese culture on campus through student events and cultural activities. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where students can connect with others with similar interests in Japanese popular culture and traditions.Our club encourages students to respectfully explore both the traditional and modern aspects of Japanese culture, including language, cuisine, history, media and traditions. Our events create opportunities for students to learn, share experiences and build community on campus.JCMC welcomes all students who are interested in engaging in Japanese culture to check out our events. Membership is open to all students currently enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan.
Our Mission:
- Provide community for University of Saskatchewan students to safely and respectfully engage in Japanese culture and media.
- Promote opportunities for students to explore and learn about Japanese culture and media
- Create events involving Japanese culture, language, traditions, etc.
